And was a regular contributor in VW Motoring magazine in the Robin Wager years. Also used to be a prominent member of the Audi Owners Club - think one of the times I met him was when I helped out on the club stand at Stanford Hall one year. He used to own a very nice early mk1 Audi 80 GTE.
