Paint for unseen areas

Discussion in 'How To' started by Graham Gunn, Apr 8, 2023.

  1. Just wanting to know what you guys would recommend for painting unseen areas of fresh metal work like behind panels, roof Supports etc.

  2. roughen bare metal beforehand, e.g. by phosphating and priming.
Then original 2 component automotive paint plus cavity wax (or cavity grease)...

Primer plus any paint you would use outside.. it has to fight off condensation. Dont just leave it in primer.

Or use Rustoleum or Hammerite. Keep moisture away from steel..

Yep, Rustoleum. Roller it on with HD foam roller or just brush it on.
