I'll be making a new trim panel when i fit my new rear hatch as the leaking window frame wrecked the old one. What should i use to pad it out a little instead of it just being a hardboard panel? I'm planning on sticking some sound deadening pads on the metal skin and waxoyling it before i fit the trim panel. I've also got rolls of closed cell foam and some foil covered bubble wrap stuff to go in too.
Thats what my westy has in all the side panels. Rockwool stuff doesn't burn (i tried some). I reckon theres better stuff thats been invented in the last 40 years that'll work better.
