Even though Stanford Hall was cancelled, we didn't let it spoil our plans. We met up at a couple of points from Doncaster to junc28 M1. Eight vans turned up for our little jaunt. It was a mix of vw vans, 3 x t25, 1 x t4 and 4 x latebays. It was great that everyone still turned up with Yorkshire campers, Paley, Bumpnudger ( and Tina) all travelling a long way to join us. We even picked up a couple of locals with nowt better to do, Mr and Mrs Morc. We visited Matlock Bath, and then moved on to the campsite, Hardhust farm, Hope Valley , Derbys. It was a lovely site(field, with toilet and showers), nice pub down the road, and even our loud(ish) campfire gathering didn't attract the attention of the site owner. Big thanks to Mark and Michelle, Zoe and Jonathon, Alan and Tina, for their part in a lovely time . Sorry about my epic fail in the Gin dept. I was a bit Knackered
Thanks to you guys too Adam, good to see you all - the donnie lot was a great bunch, made us feel welcome and part of the day out!!
Thanks for a fab night Adam, Amanda, Alan, Tina and new Donny friends - especially the fish fryer and the baker man ;D Good skills on finding a great campsite Apologies to Mark & Michelle for being too lazy to get up early and come see them 4/10 for gin effort from Adam, expect to see better next time Much k+ to bumpnudger who managed not to hit anything for the whole weekend, oh except the 90mph dial on his gauge, and who joined in for tea time jaegerbombs > And if you really want a laugh, get him to tell you about the time he managed to crash into a petrol tanker
