That's adorable. He needs goggles. Ooh! They should make tiny matching purses that have a teeny tiny plush chiuaua head poking out. Wouldn't that be a stitch?
Cheers horts I was told to get one for my whippet but shes a lurcher not a straight breed and ive never known her complain of cold unless shes been in water during winter I was wondering if it was a fashion thing but i can understand whilst camping for those dogs who cant keep themselves warm.
I used to think it was just a coat for the owners pleasure until we got a short coated dog who hates rain and cold and refuses to go out! Coat purchased and hey presto - no problem. That is a particularly nice example by the way - and the dog looks happy!
I used to have an Alaskan Malamute that hated cold wet snowy weather so much he would walk only on his front paws, ass up in the air, to keep his back feet dry and warm. :shiver: They're supposed to be able to withstand -60*F (-51*C). Go figure.
Cute coat ;D I've only ever put coats on greyhounds or lurchers who have very thin skin and very little body fat - but - when we took Duffy (Deerhound with plenty of fur) to Deva this year, he was actually shivering in the middle of the night (we were sleeping in the tent) and I had to cover him with one of our blankets. I felt really bad that I'd not thought to take a coat for him
yeh he gets cold in a tent and when were outside in the snow etc... weve bought him a couple jumpers before but he hates them this coat is the only one and a new york yankee hoody that he likes the real reason is because its so cool!
