Our camper came into our family for about £300 in the early 90s. Not needing a great deal of work, little enough for a rolling resto. I think she was origianlly a Devon conversion of some sort. I was around 10 at the time so didn't really spent much time thinking about restorations or conversions.

She came to us in a Windolene pinky/purple colour which my mum loved and got resprayed a similar colour in the late 90s.

In 2007ish my mum gave SJ to myself and Charlotte for a combimed Engagement, Wedding and Xmas present. Since then we have spent a lot of money and time restoring and customising her to suit our needs and tastes.

I gutted her completely and then rewired her (she had ongoing electrical issues which were getting worse with each 'fix') and had her sprayed green (Spanish Green, a VW colour). Wheels changed from repro 5 spoke EMPIs to stock steels. A new full length headlining was fitted. The old interior was binned and I built a new Devon inspired interior from MDF.

    I'll add more soon...

Since someone nicked our keys we've replaced the locks and handles with a new black set. It might not suit every bus but I think it looks quite good. Pic to follow.

I've also stripped the front beam and rebuild it completely with new/recon components as necessary. Pics of this to follow too.
