A couple of the other cars that vacuum up my time and money. A 91 Opel Kadett with a 2.5 v6 in it An 83 Vauxhall Cavalier. A 1 previous owner 50k car. All I do is clean it. And this, an 86 Vauxhall Cavalier. It has a 280bhp 2.0t in it for ages but that let go late last year so I'm currently putting a 2.5 v6 in it. Need to get this one out of the way to start on the bus properly, There have been plenty more
I love the green cavalier. I sometimes look for these on ebay etc as used to fancy one years ago. Where have they all gone?!! There were 1000's of sales reps driving them in the 80's.
Did you put an omega engine in the Astra? I love the digital dash fitted to these, had an 8v with a custom turbo fitted to mine back in the day! Still have the turbo/intercooler set-up for an 8v 2.0 if anyone is interested....
The v6 was out of an ex police cavalier. It's the same lump that's in omegas but transverse. The cavs just vanished overnight really and nobody noticed, just your everyday wagon. I do admin over on mk2cav.com if anyone has the slightest interest in them.
