  1. Has anyone else got or used on of these bags?

I used one on our Germany trip in September and they are excellent, we drove through some heavy rain but everything inside was perfectly dry

You can see it fitted into the luggage well and the ratchet straps pass through the various handles and loops to keep it securely in place.
If any one is interested have a look here there is some other good stuff on here too

  2. We've got the top loading ones, duffle bag style. We have had them for about 12 years and they are still going strong, definite investment.

We used smaller canoe style ones when we camped and cramped all kinds into it, keeping food dry and wet stuff away from the dry.

All our tents (and we have a collection ;D) and awning etc are stored in them in the garage and we use one for the chemical toilet to keep it away from the stuff in the van.

    Fab bit of kit! :)

  3. They are brilliant.. Have two sizes and use them for putting on back of the motorbike.. Completely waterproof and very durable material.. Willnot rip too easily. we also use the metal netting thing to go around the bag which stops it being ripped by a knigpfe too easily or even stolen as it can lock to bike (roof rack??)

best waterproof bags I have come across.... Had bought couple of similar shape ones for camper / motorbike in the past but these were tatt compared to the quality ortlieb ones. no argument. ortlieb reviews are extmely highly rated usually.
