Well I was given the opportunity to put Glenda into a garage for a few months to store her over winter, so I took that chance and in she went on the 12 Nov 11. She will now come out tomorrow afternoon and I'm sooo excited ;D The neighbours are not going to be happy will need a space to park in the street. They thought I'd sold the bay to get the beetle HA!! Great news, too the covers of Hoot at the weekend. Just the MOT and tax to go then back on the road. I love this time of year!
OOpps forgot to mention she started first time!!! , but ran like a bag of poo!! will need to drain out the old petrol, clean and re-set the carb, and change the in-line petrol filter. Also found out the excelorator pedal isn't straight! so a bit of a problem when i was revving. Will also sort this. I dunno the things you notice when you don't see your bus for a while
I've got the tools ready for action, just need a spare pair of hands and another person to curse as it goes wrong
