Oh I say @Jean-François! I’ve never seen those before I like the J7 and J9 vans but those are something else
It happens to have a vintage campers review in last issue of French magasine "Gazoline". It is how I discovered them too. Those Maillet campers... I could use a J7 as a daily too...
They are fab. I fancy the idea of a sliding front door and the rear stable doors. I was going to view one a few years ago that I had missed out on a year or so before. Unfortunately I was stuck on a job and could only go at the weekend but had made the appointment. Sadly the person who was able to view it before me bought it
Just think how many plastic Heron's, Rabbits and Baby birds you could get on the roof of that! Sacre Bleu!
Saw an old Citroen van today - the ones that look like they're made of old dustbins. I did think of you . No pic, unfortunately.
Here you go, another odd one for you to lust after. https://silodrome.com/1914-ford-model-t-motor-caravan/
good business opportunity there for you….can’t believe those prices…is it for real ? Even I’d consider emigrating south to live in that if CollyP had a hook up Just as a second / holiday home of course to then get back oop north for a proper outlook and enjoyment of life . Doesn’t have a “ buy it now price”….thank god , or …postal strike or not I’d be tempted ( PayPal of course )
