  1. I have got a jerrycan of unleaded I have not used since summer, would you still use it? I have Hurd about fuel going off.

If not how would you dispose of it?

yes i would it's not that old

  5. Sensible answer.
My van hasn't had a fill since September but I start it once a week and its been fine. I'd stick it in the van.

  6. Modern fuel contains bioethanol and gums up quicker than petrol that doesent contain bioethanol
Id still use it but id pour it through an old cotton t shirt or simmaler to filter out any residue

Obviously dont do it around naked flames etc and dispose of the t shirt responsibly etc etc

  7. My van hasn't moved since December , the first time i took it out, two weeks ago , it ran terrible , misfiring and backfiring.
cleaned out the fuel filter and brimmed it with new fuel and it ran just fine.

Just chuck it in. I just put 3 year old stuff in an empty van yesterday and it ran. It kept conking out, but the tank had been dry so it was 100% old stuff. I'll slosh a gallon of fresh in with it and from experience it'll be fine.

sell it down the pub with the petrol prices now you could make a tidy sum in profit :)

  13. I have passed through a filter, no gunk so it's going into the van next time I'm at the petrol station and then will fill the van to the top with fresh

  14. I wouldn't use it if I was you, so send it to me.
I'm not you & I would use it lol.
Mix it with new petrol if your worried I will be fine. :)

  15. Like others, I've sometimes used fuel from October right through to the following April from the same refuel. Not a problem ;)

  16. Mines been in for 6 years and started fine!!!

  17. Can you not just save it for next year's christmas pudding?
