Into 2nd week of stripping engine, finally got all the tin off and am doing a good clean up. Incidentally found two old spark plugs loose under the cylinder tin, PO cock up me thinks! Down to the real question, can I soak the oil breather box in some solvent (the one on the top) to get all the 30 odd years of gunge out? PS its a 2.0 ltre CJ engine (just found the engine number!).
