Haven't worked on a Ital for 35 plus years but if I remember correctly the clutches were difficult to bleed and sometimes this will sound really odd but we bled them via the braking system . How are you for the imperial spanners and sockets ?
My first car was a 1.3L Morris Ital. personally I thought it was great. I’ve recently been watching this bunch of fellas restoring a Marina GT Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I gave all my Marina fitting Imperial spanners to @scrooge95 a while back, but I kept the foot pump and the compression tester I bought almost 40 years ago. Somewhere there is still a Halfords socket set..
My first car was a bright yellow Marina 1.7 HL, black vinyl roof and almost shag pile carpet. Cruising around Orpington with Bananarama blasting out of one small speaker. It would have been Hawkwind, but it didn't have a tape player and only really picked up Radio 1. I can still smell it... happy days. A blue Ital just seems a little more reserved, almost conservative (with a small c) by comparison.
