me too! not that i saw that production but have seen others. i really liked maxine peake playing titania for the bbc's version a few years ago. i don't usually like the film/tv shakespeare adaptations (probably a hangover from too many wobbly sets and velvet vowels from the bbc ones in the 70's) but i enjoyed that one. anyway, back to your desk you - we need more!
I'm thinking of what to tell you about it next. I might tell you about a few more characters and the tree falling through the roof during a storm one night
Did the squirells survive the winter? How noisy were the bats? Did you stop buying rich tea biscuits for the mouse? Too many questions need answering
The bats moved out of their own accord into my neighbours roof. They preferred the peace we think. The squirrels built a nest in the silver birch in our garden and lived there as long as we did. Mr Rich tea hung around. Every night he came in got onto the shelf in the cupboard, took one biscuit and went up into the cutlery drawer to eat it in safety. We heard him and smiled to ourselves every time, you could set your clock by his scuttling feet.We actually bought another pack of rich tea biscuits in case he finished that one at one point. Then we noticed our cat Toby would sit on top of the cupboard listening inquisitively at the drawer top. One night I opened it very slightly and Toby sat watching the unaware Mr Rich tea nibble his biscuit. A few nights later I opened the drawer a little more, each time I did Mr Rich tea seemed to take no notice, until the night it was open enough for Toby to pounce. I liked Mr rich tea's nerve. I've felt terrible about that for 30 years
Can’t compete with that but I do have a bat in my loft, been there years. He doesn’t perform any tricks but he does leave lots of fly’s wings and bat poo everywhere. Never tried him on biscuits! I call him Barry. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
he's a bloody good storyteller our Malc and a great voice to tell 'em. He needs to record some and get them onto radio. I love listening to radio plays and stories but there's so much rubbish commissioned, malc is way better!
He is. I saw the title and wondered, saw it was malc and sat back and read. I like the sound of Bob & Maureen, Shane about them passing. I took an instant liking to Bob. He had a friendly smile.
listening to malc reminds me of garrison keillor but with a better voice and stories - think it was one of the first things i said to him!
