Off road tyres

hi all anyone put off road tyres on their bus , fancy doing this and found some nice 205-80-16 tyres which will be perfect as my van is running a golf git engine on standard 3 rib gearbox. Can it be done at standard height or need to be higher education. Thanks all

Is the VW type 2 good off road in standard form?

 

They're supposed to be pretty good off road. Some interesting videos on YouTube of it.

 

Much, much better than you would think. The weight distribution helps.

Those tyres are 82mm (about 3 1/2") bigger diameter than the stock 185/80/14 so you might run into problems with the tyre hitting the front jacking point or bottom of the arch.

 

195 / 80 / 15 falcon all terrains on mine , had to shave a bit off the front lip of the outrigger to stop em catching .

 

I've just bought some LT wildcat all terrian tyres for mine 195/80 14 look great just need to fix the bus now to get them all on

had a deal with flint on here! they came on his bus, but look brand new

 

can't seem to upload a picture of them on my bus the back end is nearly done i have the wheels on but its still on axle stands

 

Crack on mate were all on pins! Cant you do the email thing with it?
