  1. Arrived on site at about 10am Saturday 4th May & set up camp...

Said hello to Max the blue macaw...

A few laps of the go cart track...

    A swing on the ropes...

& a couple of goes on the slide...

We then headed back to camp as we were expecting some friends who were joining us in their new tent (virgin campers)...

  3. We were joined in the camping field by some other camper owners...

The group of bays had opted to stay here rather than camp at Stanford Hall because Stanford Hall was only a one night camp & a few others were joining them Sunday night...

Our friends arrived & managed to erect their tent although it didn't help that it was very windy...

I was instructed to put up the wind break but what I got down from the loft that I thought was a wind break was actually a pup tent, ah well the kids had fun playing in it...

At 6pm the farm park closes to day visitors but remains open until 10pm for camping guests so after our BBQ we headed down to have another play on the park...

When we got back Mrs Robo informed me that she had loaned our air pump to the guy in one of the camper vans so he could pump an air bed up for someone tenting it in their group! I was tinkering on the other side of the van when I heard someone state that the pump had burst into flames when he put it on charger in his van! Turns out the 12v charger which I've never used somehow melted it! He did offer to pay for it but I declined as it wasn't his fault I had never used it!

We had to pump our friends bed up with one of those silly foot pump!!!

The kids went to bed and the adults chilled with a few drinks and had a good old natter, we burnt a few sticks in the BBQ but went to bed quite cold & with no Propex or hook up for our lecky heater it took a while to thaw out & decided we should have gone bed earlier or stayed up longer & drank more!

Sunday was a much better day although overcast that chilly wind had dropped & we waved our neighbours off as they all disappeared to Stanford Hall...

We had another fab day down on the farm park with much better weather & lunch in the sun...

In the afternoon a convoy of campers joined us in the camping field...

Our evening trip down to the park was again enjoyed by the kids...

    Trampolines sunk in the ground...

A big soft play area in the barn...

Kids into bed again & more alcohol consumed around a much better campfire in the barby, toasted marshmallows & heated up some meat pie's for supper...

Our little Ikea solar lights shining bright...

  5. Aww - that looks great. Glad you had a good time. What a brilliant place for kids :)

  6. Brilliant!

  7. Sorry Mrs. Moosey, just realised I nicked your word there.

  8. Happy to share!

  9. Sunday night was a lot warmer, and today was glorious but the park was very busy!

Kids spent most of their time playing in the massive sandpit, we had lunch and packed up and trundled home. We had a fab time...

We paid £20 per night and they don't have any hook ups but that does include full access to the farm park for the length of your stay which is normally £3 per person (adults & kids) so if you factor this into the cost & that campers can continue to use all the facilities after the park closes at 6pm to day visitors up until 10pm makes it very reasonable especially as we are a family of four...

They have a toilet & wash room complete with washing machine down at the farmhouse but it would be quite a walk if your desperate, they had recently installed a proper plumbed in toilet in the camping field but inside what looks like a shed...

Cafe in the play barn which serves hot & cold food, but did get very busy around lunch time & we waited half an hour for chips to accompany our sarni's back in camp...

Loads of stuff for the kids to do & the camping field is elevated so you can see down onto the farm park, handy for those with older kids who could go off and play...

Field & park very clean & they made a good effort to keep on top of this during the daytime which was busy especially as they had recently features on groupon for half price day tickets to the farm park...

I did have to unblock the toilet in the field as the supplied toilet roll ran out & someone had started using the blue paper towels that just don't flush.

But all in all we had a fantastic time & will definately be re-visiting, if you have got kids then this place is great...
