Just in the final stages of installing my Propex and looking to connect the gas bottle regulator to the unit. The kit only came with a right angled screw thread attachment. Am I right in assuming I need a short length of 8mm copper pipe to connect the flexi hose? I had initially assumed the orange flexi would connect direct to the unit with a jubilee clip.
To join the hose to the copper pipe you will need a hose spigot . The hose pushes over that and is then secured with a jubilee clip. Brain now in gear ... the other name for the spigot is a Fulham nozzle available from various caravan/camping outfits. Ribbed tube with a compression nut and nipple on one end.
Thanks, would you know the thread size of the fulham nozzle, presumably it's tapered to screw direct into the heater boss?
