I've had adjusters fitted to the front beam and happy with the ride height it's currently set at. However, how is the height adjusted in the future. Surely if I slacken them off the beam will try and rotate back to it's original position and will require the bus to be pulled down prior to re-lowering and tightening. Only thinking ahead to next year's road trip when I could be loaded up. Now don't make me look stupid.....I did say it was a numpty question. Lol
i think that in order to adjust you have to jack the bus up. slacken off the adjuster, lower off or raise up on the jack until you're happy with the ride height & then re-tighten the locking nut. although i could be wrong. i don't think the bus will try & return to it's original ride height when you slacken off the adjuster, i'm sure it wants to drop lower. hence the need to jack it up. someone who knows more about this lowering lark will be along in a minute, i'm sure of it.
