Now I really do feel old.

I was collecting my grandson from junior school today, and there were three girls from the senior school standing behind me chatting. One of them mentioned "record player" and one of the others said "oh I love record players, they're so cool, my cousin has one. She likes collecting old stuff"

 

My 9yo likes an eclectic mix of music & asked if I'd heard a certain song, I said "ooh I may have that on cassette somewhere in the back room", he said "what's a cassette dad?"
"whaaaat?"
Imagine trying to explain what an 8-track was as well!?!

You reminded me. Thr only time I've used an 8 track was in a boyfriends car, a red Sunbeam Tiger. I think I only hung out with him because I loved the car so much!
