Not nice armed robbery

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by beatnick, Jun 14, 2012.

  1. Today my lad Joe (17)was the victim of armed robbery. He runs a shop up our high st two days a week and was the only one in today.
Some scrote walked in saying he had a knife and wanted the till money all calm like. Joe did the right thing and handed it over and the bloke ran off.The thing is the villain had dropped his HMP bellingham ID card.We are waiting for the police to get back but I reckon his liberty will be short lived.
Joe was a bit shaken at first but says its a good tale to tell his mates.

  2. Bloody hell ,glad he's OK

  3. Hope Joe is okay

Cant be nice being threatened with a blade (or potential blade). He did the right thing... he's safe, back at home and hopefully the scroat will be back inside soon!

  4. How awful :(

Glad your boy did the right thing and handed the cash over without putting himself at risk!

  5. when my eldest was 17 she worked weekends in woolworths on the music counter she had the same thing where a lad went for her with a knife , she was ok but no thanks to the manager who ran and hid in the stockroom

  6. Sorry to hear that, the police will catch the runt quickly and then we can have the last laugh

  7. Glad that your boy is safe. Not a nice experience at all but hopefully a happy ending in catching the stupid sod that did it....fancy dropping your id, what an idiot.

Glad you boy is ok - he did absolutely the right thing.

I'd also remind him that he was the strong person in this - the guy with the knife showed his colours by having to be armed to take something that isn't his, your boy will work honestly to get on in life and achieve a lot (being in charge of a shop at that age shows he is trusted).

I honestly hope that they throw the book at the thief - shows how low down the evolutionary scale he is that he would drop that ID - hopefully his genes will gift him something nasty and painful in the future.

  9. Thanks for the supportive words folks, it means a lot :)
Joe is fine and we will keep you updated as and when we hear anything.
    Thanks again

  10. Its good to see the Justice system is working though, If he dropped his card he couldn't have been long out. Probably Got early release for playing on his playstation.

  11. Well they have the scrote back behind bars on remand, so we are just waiting for a court date now. Will let you know what happens in due course.
Once again thanks for the kind words.

Well this is the latest,Justice my arse, he commits three more crimes gets a concurrent sentence which wont affect his release date.According to the report he handed himself in but the police told us they pulled him in four days after the event. Also the recorder makes Joe sound like a liar regarding the knife, I mean he is hardly likely to ask if he could have a look at it is he.So they take the word of a bleeding heroin addict rather than a scared victim. ggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
