  1. Booked a surprise trip to new York for the me and the wife back in April, depart 19th Nov for 3 nights.

Got my passport sorted. My wife arranged her esta. Went to do mine and was refused for a petty crime 20years ago. Then I applied for a visa. They said I won't get it back in time plus it will work out at £300. And I will probably be allowed In anyway. Only option left wife goes on her own.

May be I will go away in My van.

    sANDYbAY On benefits-won't sponsor!

Oh ok don't worry, I'll go with her. How much spending money do we get?

  3. Wish someone could go with her but virgin won't change the name on my ticket.
1200 spending money we've been saving all year.
But if she goes on her own I think £200 spending money.
And 1000 on the van to cheer me up.

  4. If you speak to the American Embassy you can speed it up. A colleague of mine did it in two days. Down there they will advise you better of the likelyhood of you being turned away at JFK. I wouldn't give up just yet.

  5. Already spoken to the embassey and the 1st appointment I can get is 5th of nov then it will be min 5 days up to 24 weeks and they don't think I will get one then.

  6. Personally I wouldn't settle for that. I'd speak to someone else politely. Granted ours were work visas but they were turned around in a week in total.

  7. my mate flew from Heathrow to America , put back on plane to Britain at American customs cos he had not declared a previous conviction, ouch, and then some ! AND the missus and kids were wiv him(but they stayed in states 4 the holibags!)

  8. What a load of old tosh. It's all too tight nowadays. It's the ones without a criminal past they should worry about. Lol

  9. Feel better now that I have a propex to fit when she's away and the kids are at school.🔥
