I used to have a bedford rascal as a works vehicle. It was superb. I like it. Easy on the juice and easy peasy to park nailed it all over the place and never had any problems with it at all. I'm over 6 foot and never found driving it cramped but chuck it into a bend and it will do a hamster!!! Convinced ive been on two wheels on numerous occasions.
Im going to bed now rick I really hope this is a dream im having and tomorow it'll be normal sevice has resumed
I had one for work until recently great fun easy to park loads of space only 1000cc so cheep tax but don't expect much on the motorway. I am 6'4 and 17.5 stone and and no proplems.
have you bought it yet? look how you missed out on that cheap bay....i'd drop everything and view it today with hard cash on the hip ready to cruise home! the above is a lie.
here's a better one than that and cheaper http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BEDFORD-BAMBI-2-BERTH-COACHBUILT-CAMPERVAN-D-REG-/130642603460?pt=UK_Campers_Caravans_Motorhomes&hash=item1e6ae7edc4 here is one that's like my first gilfriends dad had and i genuinely like these, not this specific one as it's a bit rough but these are far better than sooty vans http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BEDFORD-CF-CAMPERVAN-/270904296445?pt=UK_Campers_Caravans_Motorhomes&hash=item3f132783fd edit - it was like this one, the older version of the above - i like these. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BEDFORD-CF-2-3-MOTOR-CARAVAN-/270906351284?pt=UK_Campers_Caravans_Motorhomes&hash=item3f1346deb4
My mate has one. He's a good 6ft, but his wife and kids are tiny and they don't camp in it anyway - no room. Have you seen one with a human next to it Para? They are tiny vans.
My dad and I used to have one when we were sparking years ago ...great little vans. Went to a wedding and kipped in the back with a mate ...once we were laying down the space had gone.
I think that's rather cute. Much better than those high-rise Rascals. I say go for it. And the. When you've finished with it, turn it into a trailer/caravan.
