  7. I'm quite interested in these and accordingly I have asked;

"will these doors fit my devon moonraker or are they have westfalia specificity?"

which I believe you will find has 93% grammatical accuracy.

  8. good work fishy man

  9. Interestingly I got two replies,

'hi they will fit any t2 van/camper up to 1971 to august 79 what year is your camper'

Bit of an arse - mine's sept '79

and ' hi i have had an offer for the doors from a dealer i know (but dont preticaly like) hes offered £900 for them but ill let them go for £1000,'

another bit of an arse, since I was going to offer £850.
    I'll keep looking...

  10. hi fishy ... nice replies there .... there is no way a dealer would offer more than £90 for them (and sell on for £150) - i think this guy has a double zero on his keyboard.

also - on a side note - please dont try to hide / modify rude words - if you write it correctly the filters pick it up with out you having to add in characters like @ instead of A :)

not having a go - just not sure if you knew!

You're not going to like this, but I think they're "worth" it.
I had some new ones recently. They didn't fit and ballooned in and out where the skin was bonded to the frame. Even just to get then looking straight would have taken quite a while. I'm taking a day at least so min £250 + price of door?

Or weld up your own. Really? 2 days with filling to get it as good looking as the NOS ones, so £500 for a repaired and filled door.

I'd equal the dealers bid and hope he'd rather sell to me.

sell on for £150? - you get them, I'll give you £200 each. :)

supply and demand, as zed says if you're doing a proper resto and it wants to be perfect they would make the job easier and the end job better, that said it's all relative i personally would just stick brazzilian doors on mine if i needed to and spend the rest on cider.

  16. you dont get any VAG tho :(

  17. I`m kinda on the fence . totally agree with Zed but surely you would go down the rust free route unless you were totally minted or wanted a mint bus .From memory i paid £90 per rust free door 4 years ago so what £ 150-£200 a door now ? perhaps this guy should wait till all the rust free ones run out .... I don`t see the point in keep asking the guy ramdom pointless questions .

  19. I don't know anything about your prices, but a door cannot fit a bay from 71 to 79 since the doors are different. If we ignore the locking pin hole that changed on and off through the years, post '76 doors have different hinges.
