Gave the old girl a service today and changed all the fuel pipe.I ran it after the service and that was fine ,no problem's, while pulling the fuel pipe off the tank starter got a wetting of petrol across the terminals. reconnected the battery and I get ignition lights and the fuel pump runs ( 12 volt ) but no starter motor, does it need to dry properly or could it be something else ?
You lucky, lucky b'stard. I tried to do the same thing to my old girl ........................ all I got was a slap and told to sod off.
Take your time and approach from behind, that's where the engine is and that's where all your woes are
I know I should've been but unfortunately my insomnia was keeping me wide awake. How dare you sir, at the very least it would be in St Johns Wood.
