I'm new here, and I heard that it is one of the best places to meet vw t2 enthusiasts like me I was interested in Vw cars especially beetles as I remember - now it is more than 20 years I'm loookin to buy t2 and I found one which looks pretty nice but problem is that noone can help identificate the exact version: is it a Westfalia, Devon Caravette, or some special purposes car changed for camper. Your help wil be very appreciated...... So there are some photos below... There is one clue: DESMO mounting table base in the floor so it can suggest english version but hello it is LHD.. Also strange is separate storage place with extra doors behind driver doors: gas bootle sector??
looks like it could have been a security vehicle transporting cash in the sealed box that's accessible to the outside. like the securicor or G4S vans of today that collect cash from supermarkets etc, and it seems to be a devon roof, but with a few differences such as no roof vents and slightly different bunks, do they fold back up and have vinyl covers at all? did you buy it or are you still searching?
