I understand that the owner of Battlesbridge Essex Antiques Centre has sold the event field, which means no more VW weekend shows and any other classic car/bike days from now. Also Elemental VW show is not on this year. Good news the classic car retro show IS on at the Lawns, Rochford, Essex on the 23rd June. My car club SDCCC are hoping to put on again next year 'Classics on the Beach' next year on Southend sea front, just need the ok from the Southend council and will keep you posted. Last event there we had over 100 cars on show and if the weather is good its a great event/meet Nb all cars have to 'booked in' by the council to avoid parking tickets (there are loads of parking cameras there).
