  1. HI All,

Im currently doing my first camper van restoration (1978) and im currently at the interior stage. Having purchased the door cards what is the best thing to use for insulation / sound proofing?

    Cheers

  2. That's been a great help, thanks pal.

  3. O worries, pop a few pics up as you progress we like pics >:D

  4. Whilst the silvered bitumen pads are very good...think long and hard before you use them...its just taken me 3 hrs to remove one from between the seats (PO) with a paint scraper, paint thinners and heavy duty sand paper

Just trying to decide on next option - closed cell foam or is better palziv? What would you guys recon is the best value for money, seems to be coming in quite pricey.

  8. Hi

Get in contact with noisekiller in Manchester. Great range of products and easy to install yourself.

  9. I used flash banding to deaden the panels then cheap silver backed sleeping mats of eBay stuck down with spray on carpet advesive. Then WBP 9mm ply then bamboo t&g flooring from B&Q. nice and cheap and effective!
    cheers

  10. I have just finished referbing my westy's interior and use silver backed laminate floor insulation and glued it with trimfix then 35mm insulation from Harrison trims great stuff also put it in the roof then covered all the metal work with easy trim carpet the same as veltrim but easier to lay

Rob would put some pics on but not sure how
