We were admiring a whole line of little engines doing just that at The Brontë Vintage Gathering last month

 

Cake mixer. For big cakes.

 

Ideal for a very very slow motor bike..

 

What on earth are you going to do with it?

 

1/2 bhp - wow - with all that power just attach a pulley on the output shaft and then you can drive anything such as ....... erm .....erm ?

 

It could drive a generator, to charge batteries in a EV for example....

 

We were on our way back from Cadwell Park once, race bike on the trailer, using the back roads when we passed a country show that was packing up. I let a small car that was coming out of a field out into the traffic and to my horror it was towing a trailer with a large stationary pump on it. God it was slow, and there’s no way I could pass it.

 

It could drive a prostate massager, which is what I think most of the old geezers at steam shows do.
