I've ordered a set, one for each side...... Now, has anybody got a 'how to' on changing them????

 

Searched the web for a guide on replacing these but apart from a bloke in the states with the most annoying voice I've ever heard Talking generally about the way they work...... nowt. Anybody seen anything useful?

As you know, the original mechanisms held in with rivets. I have heard of these being replaced with blind rivets (pop rivets). This would not only be different to original but may hinder the workings of the window. Some may say otherwise but wouldn't be right!.
The only difficulty being that the original semi tubular rivets require a special die to peen over the end for fixing. (see picture)
The original semi tubular rivets are on there way.

I was thinking of purchasing a few of the dies and offering a rental on them due to the cost????
