    I'd like one that had an intermittent setting. I'll have to train @JennyB ;)

    Let's set the scene;

    Triumph herald convertible
    Me
    Elevated section of M4
    (A lot of) rain

    The splines went on the driver's side wiper - luckily the window winder was working that day. I had to lean out and grab it and then had to waft it up and down like an eedjit.
    My right arm was quite wet when I got home :-(

  7. 1966 Triumph Spitfire Mk2, cross country from Norwich to Chester in the rain at night, wipers gave up as I left the Fens. Arrived in Chester with a very wet and cold right arm...

  8. I had 1962 Pontiac Catalina W/ vacuum wipers & an engine with a big cam (no vacuum)& had to do that a couple times:mad:

  9. I was coming home late last night and I noticed a light in the rear view mirror ,it was not bright but it was getting closer :eek: I looked at the speedo and thought it cannot be a pushbike ,then I saw it ,someone was riding a motorbike with a torch in his hand ,only en france..:hattip:

  10. I've done that in my MG coming back from France when the cable snapped.
    Along with many other bits that broke or fell off. :confused:
