new home made units

    Hi has anyone got any ideas on home made units for my van as i want to change the inside this year to more country look and as i built these one weekend i would like to make them better this time round,i have some nice country doors in white just need some ideas .for carcases. camper cooker.JPG photo (20).JPG

    Ken I'd suggest birch plywood, it's a bit more expensive than the shuttering type of plywood but it doesn't have any voids.
    Plan where the wood will join and use a router to make grooves to join pieces together.

    Before you glue anything work out where plumbing and electrics go and use a hole cutter to give you nice tidy holes.

    If your not putting drawers in then make a jig and drill a series of shelf stud holes to make the shelves adjustable le you get in kitchen cupboards.

    You might won't to increase the bottle rack capacity if camp with any TBLer's.

    Its of tinernet not mine but am gonna fit one with a tap when I do the kitchen here.

    Had running water nearly from day one. We is well posh even have ca toilet bowl fitted.

    been out there today took out sink and cooker and removing units to renew them:)

    i have now striped out all units and started to build new ones cant wait to get vanback from body shop to carry on fitting out:)
