    That Simca is M reg - 1974 - which makes it a 1301/1501 - the improved version of the 1300/1500
    And true anoraks will be interested to know that VW's improved 1300, the 1302 had to be called that rather than the intended 1301 because
    Simca had been using 1301 as a model name since 1966.

    That black thing is a Talbot-Lago one fifty.

  10. They used to be little gems to work on, engine and gearbox out in half an hour. I was abit of an engine speciallist on them back in the day. Good reason for that though...they were s h i te. Liner seals, head gaskets.....Had them in bits most weeks.
