I came across a set of three programmes on the BBc4 archive. Some great anecdotal stuff along the way. First shown a month before I was born. https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p01rwfkm/nairn-across-britain-2-transpennine-canal Episode 2 is along the Liverpool/Leeds canal - I would love to cycle it one day (and the Grand Union from London to Birmingham). Shows a few places some of us might be familiar with Just watching episode 3, then I will go back and watch episode 1.
