Mystery Gearbox

Any ideas, @nobody ? Is this a mis-stamped CE, or a recon unit mebbe? Can't find a reference to a CF anywhere.

This should in theory be a CE box, given what I'm told it came out of. Three-ribber.

got any more pictures? its a 1974 mountain ratio gearbox 5.857 Ring and pinion (so quite revy)

 

Here y'go. Revvy's the last thing I need. I want to go the other way: taller R&P.

It's the "spare" box given to me when I bought my last engine. Can't think why it would be mountain spec.

Apart from the R&P, are the ratios the same as a CE box?
