79 with a front hinge roof? any more info on if it's been retro fitted or had a different roof on it? welcome anyway

  5. Welcome, welcome! You'll be a right good welder (if you're not already) when you get the holes sealed in on that. Congrats on the Bus.

  6. hi rickrooo1 yes front hinge but missing the front fibreglass roof, it came with a different roof which i think is a rear elevating with the front fibre glass luggage rack looking to swop or sell

  7. Weldings not problem its where every thing goes when put it back to together, its my first bus, grown up with these as a kid my dad has had over 8 or 9 over the years, early bays ,late bays and splitscreen campers.

  8. Nice kettle. I got the same one from Home Bargains.

  9. lol its the guys i bought the bus off :D

  10. Stick the rear hinged roof on dude cos it's right for the year plus they are bigger upstairs than the front hinged ones, looks like your going to be busy for a while, I wish you all the best & look forward to following your progress...

Welcome to TLB by the way :D

P.S. take plenty of pics as you go along, we like pics here & its also good to look back and see what you have achieved
