hi all as my van is still in bits lol, ive got myself a new toy for the summer! i had a grifter about 30 years ago showing my age lol just need a working van and a bike rack to look really kool!!
That's an original - looks restored or simply locked away in a dry shed for a long time. Great find though as they are surprisingly rare. I don't think they ever did a repro Grifter - as for what they did to Choppers....
totally original guys, lots of surface rust on the chrome ect the tyres were the original supergrips when i got it but had totally cracked, the inne tubes were originals as well!! but full of patchs, so in interest of safety got some raliegh bmx tyres to use on it for now. even the brake blocks are original 80's ones!! i dont plan on restoring it as i like the patina! date stamped april 1980 on the hub! i agree moons mk 3 choppers suck!
