Hi all just got this 2.0 petrol (Audi 100 ) engine Two owner with 67, 000 on the clock. As far as I can see it needs a wiper motor and a the washers sorting the its going for an MOT The interior is very tidy jyst got to sort out a cracked skykight. More pics to follow.
Thanks people I think ive struck lucky on this one cant see any rot, apart from the bubbles on the door , the chassis is rock solid. Engine starts on the button ind sounds good. The interior is original and in really good condition , I wasn't sure if I liked it at first but its definitely growing on me cant wait to go camping. Jobs to do straight away are replacing the skylight as its leaking slightly and staining the roof lining a bit. Then a few jobs for the mot and thats it, if I really like it I might lpg it.
you won't regret it for camping. soooooooooooo much space and so so practical. the only down side to these beauty in the beasts is the mpg.
The guy who owned it from 1977 untill 2009 liked a gadget I think, ive got two cbs, all sorts of dials and switches for charging this that and the other and lots of wires , oh and an old school black and white tv rigged up to a reversing camera.
