I thought it was about time I put a thread up about my bus. I have just taken it off the road for winter to do some more bodywork and I will try to keep the thread updated as I go along. I bought it just over 4 years ago for £300 and it was a bit of a state! It had been off the road for 13 years and had been really badly brush painted blue and yellow... It took me about 12 months to get it MOT'd then the engine expired before I had a chance to go anywhere other than the local petrol station! After fitting a recon in it has been totally reliable and I have done about 5000 miles. I have been sorting the bodywork a panel at a time and painting with Rustoleum and a roller to get it presentable. I had never welded before I got it but I am getting better! All the work has been done by myself (with help from friends and neighbours!) on my drive and more recently in the garage so I am so pleased with how its looking from certain angles! The front and the passenger side look ok, the drivers side looks rough as! Hopefully that will change over the next few months... ;D
That looks a very nice bus Its nice to see a homebuilt bus when theres so many cheque bus resto busses out there Please post some more pics dude
