Music software

Hi, can anyone recommend a good / the best music software out there for pc that allows you to actually make music. Either by recording from your own keyboard or using it's own keys and string samples etc.

Cubase or fruity loops are pretty good I think.

 

as above and also pro tools.

but for me Logic (on mac) will always win over and over ... i'd like to hear your results.

 

If you want something free download Audacity it's really good considering it costs nothing

 

you cant do much programming with audacity tho ... its a great tool but not good for full on production
