Well, I get out and camp on the bikes occasionally. Last week at a motorcycle only campground called Sparkplugs. Happy for any and all input on this topic. Will continue posting about it. Sent from my moto g power (XT2041DL) using Tapatalk
Sorry about the link. https://www.facebook.com/100032455729540/videos/474582520300268/ Hope it works. 46 and the guy rides the hell out of it. Local but after the campfire session decided to make use of an extra sleeping bag. Sent from my moto g power (XT2041DL) using Tapatalk
Hi there, I’m guessing by the look of your grass that the weather is a lot kinder / milder / warmer/ reliable than here in the UK. Recently I’ve been painting the fence in shorts and T-shirt on the Easter Sunday and borrowing the wife’s old sun hat to keep the sun off the back of my neck then on the Monday I’m in work as a delivery driver wearing two jackets, a pair of gloves, and a bobble hat Bikes look an absolute dream and yes I’m loving that side valve stuff too. Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,I go camping with three different coats, big, even bigger, and mahoosive
I’ve done it a couple of times... travelling light with a tarp over the bike as a massive tent pole. Freedom.
I used to camp with my bike around the UK and Europe when I was a lot younger, I'm off on a road trip at the end of the month around the Dales, lakes and peaks but in B&B's I'm afraid.
That looks like a lot of effort to go to to get that chain to whip the top off that bottle. Ozziedog,,,,,,,class act though.
That was in Biarritz down in South West France during the late 70's, my Yamaha XS650 got a rear puncture and I had to hold the wheel whilst on the back of my mates bike on the way to the nearest garage and back. Happy days when life was less complicated.
Awesome response all !! I love camping, and camp out of any mode of transportation I have available. Feet, bicycle, motor anything. Sent from my moto g power (XT2041DL) using Tapatalk
Fear is good in that it reminds us of caution. Think about your fear and weigh it against your experience. I camp alone a fair amount, been spooked, sometimes learned why. I was planning on exploring a route in Oregon's coast range by myself last year, didn't feel right about it. Wound up meeting some buddies at their hunting camp instead. Had a blast. Other times, no fear. Weigh it out. If the fear is going to inhibit the experience find something to challenge you more in your comfort range. If it is negotiable, proceed with caution and have fun.
