You get a free retest if done within 10 days and its at the same place ,but only on certain items

 

If all else fails, swap the pads from side to side.

 

took it to our local kwik fit. MOT is £35, so paid £25 and have to pay £17 when we take it back for a re test, so it will cost an extra £7 :-[

 

Just an update.
Done the offside pads and ball joint sorted.

Nearside ooohhh dear, now this didnt look good,outside caliper piston seized. :'(

Rang GSF in Lincoln and they had 1 caliper in stock.and they close at 4 oclock. 50 mins to get to Lincoln from Hull, was a close call but walked thru the door at 5 to 4.

Well all fitted now just needs bleeding and its peeing down ???

Well we are now legal for another 12 months.

Retest and passed and have to say the brakes are shoot hot, now i need to build an engine to use them to the max. C C C
