MOT this morning, I've never been so nervous...

Seriously guys I'm a wreck... :-

I know, its silly isn't it because even if she fails I will be getting her fixed up so I dunno why I'm so nervous but I am, lol...

OK time for an update, Molly has got to go back to the MOT place next week because I want her testing on just the chassis number but for some reason their system won't allow it...

They need the old skool air cooled guy to do it with possible help from the VOSA Vehicle Examiner...

I knew it wasn't going to be an easy job but fingers crossed next week will see her sorted...

Apparently the computer system used at the MOT station wouldn't allow them to do it, I went to my local VOSA test place and they said that the MOT test place should still be able to put it onto the system.

I went back to the MOT station & they took me and showed me so I believe them, but the guy who owns the garage only works Tuesdays & Wednesdays and he's got a good relationship with their Vehicle Examiner so between them they are hoping to sort it on Wednesday...

Fingers crossed for Wednesday then...

 

Bummer, but good luck for Wednesday, I had mine mot'd on the chassis no 1st time round, and the garage I went to were fine with it, but I suppose systems like that get altered and updated all the time and my 1st one was well over a year ago.

MOT update...

She failed, but only on a missing or dodgy earth to one of the lights which was causing an issue...

They fitted a new earth cable & she passed the re-test with only one advisory, rear brakes may require adjustment...

Yay...
