I took Lola for an MOT last Friday...she failed :'(, first time I have ever had a vehicle fail. The bad man at the council MOT station failed her on .. 1:Horn ( it works but he couldn't find it...and we heard her as the pirates and I were in the reception...mental note don't go for an MOT with kids ) so I have to write horn on the doorbell that is the horn button. 2:Brake pedal anti slip provision incomplete....had worn to the metal on a corner. 3: drivers side seat belt does not secure or release...OK it's a bit stiff but if it didn't work I would have put another one in. 4rivers door has sharp edge caused by corrosion....... fair..taped up now 5:Sliding passenger door cannot be opened from outside the vehicle..... it won't if you turn the handle down : he even saw me open it to let the pirates out? 6: drivers door cannot be opened from the inside....he'd locked it. Two more were headlamps, one aim to high and one with no pattern, they passed last time with an advisory. Now please don't think I'm having a moan...more of a warning to other peeps in Bayland so that you don't feel suckered like I do, be there with the MOT person as they go round your ride...especially as the guy that did mine admitted he wasn't even born when she was made. All I gotta do now is wait til it gets darker so I can adjust my headlamp aim..then retest tommorrow, on a retest do they just examine the points of failing or do they go through the whole process again ?
Yayyyyyy...passed And on the same day watched my ex get carted off to the cop shop, weird day and the first of the rest of my life 8)
