Does anyone else struggle to sleep? for years if i wake up in the night i can't get back to sleep, i woke at 3.32 am and been watching crappy tv since, it makes no odds if i'm tired or had no sleep i just can't get back off, i end up winding myself up telling myself i'm not gonna get back to sleep and i never do. thanks to the F1 being morning races i've been up early all weekend and i was really looking forward to 7 hours sleep last night...i got 4 grrrr.

  2. yet just latey i have been loke that, horrible, makes you feel sleepy all day, stress does it, got to get rid of the stress 1st to get normal sleep back i have been told hahahahaha

  3. I would like to join the insomniacs club please. I regularly get about 3-4 hours of sleep a night  :(

  4. I get it in bouts can go for weeks laying in bed not going to sleep usually about 3/4 o'clock before I nodd off. Then all os a sudden it will change and I sleep all night, still wake up in the morning feeling crap like I've had no sleep.
Her indoors goes to sleep within 5 mins of head hitting the pillow.

mine isn't a struggle to get to sleep, i can always get to sleep if i'm tired, the problem is getting back to sleep when i wake, if i go to bed absolutely knackered at say midnight i'll be asleep by 12.05....problem is - as today, if i wake at 3.30 that's my lot!, i'm not sure it's stress with me, more so just can't clear my head once i wake up i start thinking stuff straight away. :-( gonna be tired all day now and i hate mondays too.

  6. going to put my name forward for joining this club
getting to sleep is no prob at all but no matter what time i awake
i can not get back to sleep again so up i get and turn the TV on

  7. Do you drink in the evening Ricky? Alcohol can have that effect, the body metabolises the alcohol and produces sugar, so once the relaxing effect of the alcohol wears off, the sugar buzz sets in. I find wine worse, maybe because it is sweet already, and tend to stick to beer now. Warm milk (no sugar!) and half an hour of telly and I can usually get back to sleep.
