Had a superb week up in that they're North, beginning with a few nights in Dent..as usual..at High Laning, for the Not Dent Music and Beer festival 2018.
We love it their and enjoy being away from it all in the middle of nowhere.

I'm not going to post pictures of Dent itself as I have posted lots over the years, this time I'll post some different ones beginning with the Flintergill Outrake Trail which climbs out of the village and heads towards Whernside (I believe).

And the final stop off was back home in Derbyshire to Monyash to The Lathkill Dale Campsite

We love it there, we would recommend the campsite, as we would the others plus the food at The Bulls Head is a great way to end a great week!

We had a wonderful break, superb weather & enjoyed every moment :D

I'm going to end this by thinking about something what happened in Hinderwell.

At the end of the village where the Port Mulgrave road turns off, next to the bus stop, most days we passed by a farmhouse having work done to it, it looked like it was outbuildings being converted.
Anyway, Wednesday we went to the pub for a couple and it turned out a local lad, possibly mid 30's hung himself in the buildings later on last Monday night. It shook us up a bit considering we walked past the spot everyday we was in Hinderwell & he was hanging there, unbeknown to everyone.

It made us stop and think..
