Been fitting these carbs on and off during xmas the central fuel enrichment solenoid (oblong one on the l/h carb) seems to be knacked as does the one on my spare set does anyone know if it can be fixed in the correct position to run or even if you can get a replacement
That's the idling enrichment valve, just increases the idling mixture when cold it is just a bimetal strip with a heating element, that closes of a port, doesn't normally cause any problem if it is not working. The part number is 021 129 052A if you can find one.
