Moonraker upholstery

  1. I’m looking at having my Moonraker bed cushions re-upholstered. A few years ago I seen a pic where someone had re-upholstered their cushions using, what I think was vinyl, and had kept some of the original Devon fabric to use as the inlay/panel in the centre of the cushion.

I’ve been searching for hours to try find this pic. Not sure if it was on TLB forum. Has anyone else seen this or know where I can find this pic or done this themselves?

    cheers.

  2. I think most upholster's would be able to take your old covers and use them to make the inlays for new vinyl covers. I know a guy I've used down in Kent that took an old leather sofa and used the leather to make new covers.. so anything is possible..

I didn’t see the post. But if it’s any help I have one original bed cushion and that big rear one sitting doing nothing in the garage.
@SweeneyTodd can make anything btw...could’ve been something he’d created?

  5. Not me Katy (thanks for your kind words). I did do these for @GONA66 using some of his family tartan which he’d sourced & provided for use in the Flagbus, I only did the front seats, Grahame had the rear cushions & walkthrough box seat made elsewhere.
