Hi there. I require new gas struts for my Double top Moonraker. I have found a company that sells replacements. (SGS engineering). On their site they offer a Re-gassing service. I'm just wondering if anyone has had their struts re-gassed and if so how much did it cost and did it work? Thanks for any help.
Is it really worth the bother of getting them re-gassed? I ordered 3 struts from SGS and they arrived the next day £30 each delivered. Fitted them in about 30 minutes and the roof works perfectly.
I suppose not if you have plenty of money. But at £120 for the full set of 4 I thought it might be worth looking at their re-gassing service if , like they say, it is a fraction of the cost. Why did you only get 3?
