One of my late bays original mirrors has broken ( LH stem sheared off as folding it in) does any one have an original for sale. If not I'll have to replace both does anyone know the real difference in quality of stainless steel over chrome and who would be the best supplier JK, Heritage or any others? Many thanks Chris
unless you can find some NOS originals in good nick, the stainless ones are better quality, but even these are pretty average
The threaded insert on repros aren't really long enough to get the retaining nut on properly. There were some original ones for sale on here t'other day
I bought chrome ones and they were rusty within a month. I then got stainless ones and they have been fine for over 5 years
