Mini show in Kent

Just a heads up, in Detling Showgrounds there is a "Mini Show" celebrating 55 years http://www.imm2014.co.uk/

 

I wondered why I've seen so many minis heading south on the A1 over the last two days. Should be a very good turn out.

 

According to the boss who drove by there this morning there are hundreds and hundreds. Real ones that is not the German aberration. It was suggested that I ought to go up there this weekend.

 

Thats weird ones just given me a burn up the new thanet way rather their than detling hill

Great pics I had a mini pick up as a runaround for a good few years...a little under powered as an 850cc but it was sort of fun. Graduated to a Mk2 Mini after that all of 998cc rocket powered with wind down windows too!
Recognize that Transit Custom...it used to trailer a Velocette Venom around. Beautiful, went like the clappers. The bike that is not the Transit!

 

ive had a twin carb 1275 gt, 1000 and an 850 in the past....ahhh the good ole days of youf! lol been to a few shows over the years and recommended

 

I think I must have kept Isopon in business plugging up the rot holes that used to appear around the headlamp surrounds. Oh and the joys of doing a subframe change fingers crossed the mountings hadn't rotted out. Heady days!
